2012 Legacy of Leadership Awards Nominations

Valley Vision is recognizing three leaders who have made exceptional achievements in making our region more prosperous (economic award), more just (social equity award), and more environmentally vibrant and sustainable (environmental award). A committee made up of our Board of Directors will evaluate each nomination against the following criteria that Valley Vision strives to live by:

The candidate envisions new possibilities and futures and takes concrete steps to realize them;
In achieving their goals, the candidate crosses boundaries, jurisdictions or disciplines to address issues or solve problems;
The candidate works collaboratively, leveraging the talents and assets inside and outside their organization;
The candidate is resourceful and demonstrates an ability to find ways over, under, around, and through barriers; and
The candidate is passionate about his/her goals, their relationships, and their work product.

Winners will be awarded at the 2012 Legacy Feast, taking place on Thursday, May 16 at the Crocker Art Museum in Downtown Sacramento.
