Project Overview:
The 2010 Community Needs Assessment is a collaborative effort by the four non-profit healthcare systems working in our community. Every three years this collaborative effort assesses the overall health status of our community and uses this assessment to guide their respective community benefit efforts. The 2007 assessment is available now, and the 2010 results will be available in the fall of 2010.


Key Deliverables:

  • Identify the health status of the Capital Region population; identify vulnerable populations by zip code
  • Compile and analyze data into a comprehensive report, update data set housed in support website: www.healthylivingmap.com
  • Prepare final status report and publish


Project Duration:

2 years commencing September 2008; concludes September 2010
