Christine Ault
Christine has been a contributor to Valley Vision since 2012. She was the chief manager of Sacramento’s breakthrough Next Economy strategy—the 6-county public-private prosperity agenda designed to shift the region’s economic trajectory out of the 2008 recession. Christine later served as Valley Vision’s strategic communications advisor between 2015-2018, and continues to support us today on special projects.
Professional Experience
Christine is a communications professional with strong, long-standing relationships across the Sacramento community. She has three decades of experience spanning media, start-up ventures, nonprofit organizations, private industry, and public agencies. Since 2008, she has provided freelance communications services to some of Sacramento’s top agencies, local companies, and leading initiatives. She offers 30 years of communications experience as a senior executive, project manager, campaign director, or consultant in marketing, community and public relations, advertising, and event production.
Christine is known for her abilities to develop and implement comprehensive communications programs including brand building, economic development, multi-media advertising campaigns, marketing and outreach strategies, product launches, community outreach, and news media strategies. Her strengths include strategic planning, project management, team building, partner alliances, integrated marketing, and she is exceptionally well-connected to Sacramento’s business, civic, and elected leadership.

Christine grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and after graduating in 1992 with a BA in Communications Studies from Sacramento State, she chose to launch her life and career in Sacramento. She’s been an avid champion for Sacramento’s cultural, social, and economic prosperity ever since and actively pursues projects that advance quality of life and community.
