Join us for a virtual Cross-Sector Advisory on Agriculture, Business, and Entrepreneurship!

As the Greater Sacramento Region’s agricultural and business sectors continue to evolve, it is essential that our training programs keep pace and provide valuable opportunities. This advisory will focus on fermentation sciences, specifically brewing and viticulture. It will feature an employer panel that will evaluate the current employment landscape, as well as the regional labor market and occupational trends.

This cross-sector advisory will include employers from the fermentation industry who will share their expertise and discuss labor market trends and occupational developments in this dynamic sector.

Featured speakers include:

  • David Ogilvie from Wilson Vineyards and Silt Wine Company.
  • Raef Porter from Bike Dog Brewing
  • Justin Boeger from Boeger Winery.

Keynote highlights will include:

  • Dr. Glen Fox, UC Davis Anheuser-Busch Endowed Professor, will explore the science behind beer brewing
  • Jessica Coppola, Sacramento City College Professor of Nutrition, Food Science, and Beer Brewing, will discuss the art of fermentation sciences
