May 11, 2023
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Hospitality, Culinary, and Tourism sector continues to experience strong growth, as employers seek solutions to major industry challenges around staffing, supply chains, rising costs, and ever-evolving customer and client expectations.
We invite you to join a hybrid Hospitality, Culinary, and Tourism Regional Advisory on Thursday, May 11th, 2023 (11:00 am – 1:00 pm) with the goal of exploring the changing climate facing Hospitality, Culinary and Tourism employers, career opportunities in the field, and the resulting takeaways for post-secondary education and training in this sector.
This advisory meeting will feature a keynote presentation, labor market and forecast analysis, and a broad industry panel discussion. The in-person convening will take place at the Central Kitchen at 3101 Redding Ave, Sacramento, CA (lunch will be served). We also invite registrants to participate in a limited availability, in-person tour of the Central Kitchen at 10:00 am (first 20 interested participants).
The Central Kitchen is a unique culinary operation that delivers thousands of fresh meals daily to students at Sacramento area schools, with an emphasis on farm-to-fork quality and nutrition. Thank you for your interest!
Since this is a hybrid event, in-person attendees will visit 3101 Redding Ave, Sacramento, CA, 95820
However, due to limited capacity at the event space, we will only be able to accommodate a certain number of attendees in person. Therefore, we welcome those who are not able to attend in person to join us virtually over Zoom. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in this important discussion and look forward to connecting with both in-person and virtual attendees.
